Major Milestone in Sustainable Taxiing at Schiphol!
Smart Airport Systems is proud to see the first KLM passenger flight brought to the Polderbaan Runway using the Taxibot — a major step forward in reducing emissions and improving sustainability at Schiphol Airport!
The Taxibot allows aircraft to taxi without running their engines, saving fuel and significantly cutting CO₂ emissions. This is part of a larger effort to make Schiphol quieter, cleaner, and more sustainable, aligning with our goal of reducing aviation’s environmental impact.
